The VERVE® Deep Knurl Power Barbell is a barbell catered specifically for experienced Powerlifters adhering to all IPF bar specifications. The aggressive mountain knurl pattern, instead of the commonly used volcano knurl, is cut extra deep into the stainless-steel shaft providing sharp diamonds for that solid grip during heavy lifts.
The bar is made to IPF standards for a 20KG men's bar with 2.2m length and a 50mm sleeve diameter to accommodate any Olympic weight plates. With an IPF spec 29mm shaft, centre knurl and markings, this bar is the ultimate for any competition, home or commercial gym for those looking to step up their game in the powerlifting world.
Unlike lower quality stainless bars, this bar is equipped with a fully stainless steel shaft and stainless steel sleeves, ensuring the bar is resistant to oxidation (rust) from all hands, racks and plates. Like all barbells, we recommend regular maintenance to keep it in optimal condition. The combination of everything from deep knurl to fully stainless steel, puts this barbell in a class of its own.
Because there is no coating on the bar, there is absolutely nothing getting in between your hand and the steel, allowing you the ultimate lifting experience.
COMPETITION STANDARDS (IPF):
You will receive your bar fully assembled in a single strong tube ready to perform from the moment you unbox it. This bar pure steel bar is not polished. It has no additional coatings applied and variations in appearance may be visible on the surface in the knurled areas. This does not affect the performance in any way.

"Just like how a cheap drill or an expensive drill will do the job, but the expensive one will always have that superior feel that is hard to describe until you use it. It's a similar concept, however, if you're inexperienced, you may not appreciate the quality, I've been training for 16+ years and wish I got a better bar way sooner. My clients of 12 months can also feel the difference. It's a joy to use and with a better grip than most bars due to the excellent knurling, it has a slight perception of lighter weight, which is nice. And yeah, the finish and everything are the best I've used. It's on par with my Texas Deadlift bar. in fact, may be a little nicer in Quality. I think USA-made and Swedish bars like Eleiko have such a great reputation, Aussie made stuff perhaps doesn't get given the chance or maybe will never gain the same reputation. But honestly, this is F'ing excellent in my opinion. Would Highly recommend it. Also, I've been training clients across many gyms in the past 11 years of Personal training and this BB along with my Verve Buffalo bar and Texas deadlift bar are the nicest I've ever laid my hands on. I have used Eleiko bars, and Rogue bars too. My only slight issue with the buffalo bar is that the sleeves are not in the same angle/alignment but it's a small thing I never pursued so thats on me and I'm sure if I complained they would replace it."

I did a lot of research before getting this and the full stainless steel means it will last a lifetime. One thing is I recommend using non-metal collars as these can scratch the bar."
